Seit gestern haben wir nun auch einen Adventskranz. Das ist nun unser dritter Kranz. Dieses Mal habe ich ihn bewusst nicht symmetrisch gemacht - mir gefällt er: etwas kitschig, trotzdem nicht zu überladen. Genauso mag ichs.

Yesterday I put together our advent wreath. This is the third one I made, this time I didn’t decorate it in symmetry - I like the outcome: a little kitschy, but still not too burdended with itsy-bitsy things. That’s the way I like it.

Beautiful! We lived in Germany for five years and I truly miss the lovely advent wreaths (I loved those ones that hung from the ceiling) and the thoughtful attention paid to Advent. Actually there is so much more I miss……..St Martin’s Day, shopping at my local Market, the Christmas Markets, riding my bicycle everywhere, the children using real dishes and eating real food at Kindergarten, the flowers oh the amazing flowers, new wine and onion cake, Chocolate, the list goes on. What a special treat to live there!!!!!!

Leider hab ich dieses Jahr keinen gebastelt weil ich mal etwas anderes
