Für ein Bastelprojekt habe ich noch Bilder vom Meer und ostfrieslandtypischen Sehenswürdigkeiten gesucht. Also machte ich mich auf die Suche und fand Ostfriesland. Eine geniale Startseite für Informationen zu Ostfriesland. Die oben gezeigten Prospekte habe ich da angefordert, sie waren innerhalb von zwei Tagen bei uns zu Hause.

Neben den Bildern habe ich sie auch noch auf interessante Ausflugsziele für uns abgegrast und die folgenden kindertauglichen Angebote gefunden:

Dies ist nur ein kleiner Ausschnitt für Emden und die nähere Umgebung, Ostfriesland ist größer und es gibt sicher noch viel mehr. Man muss nur suchen und planen.

Ich hätte noch eine organisatorische Frage: Wer macht denn noch mit? Oder wer möchte noch mitmachen? Bitte meldet Euch noch einmal bei mir, dann würde ich in den nächsten Tagen ein Posting mit allen Euren Blogs und Ideen veröffentlichen.

Und - das war der letzte Teil der Vorbereitung. Wir haben bereits aktiv mit der Summer Challenge begonnen und können demnächst einmal zeigen, was wir bereits “angestellt” haben. Lasst Euch überraschen - ich bin es jedenfalls. Ich bin überrascht, wie man mit etwas Vorbereitung, Geduld und Zeit selbst mit einem Dreijährigen schon klasse Bastelprojekte umsetzen kann. Aber dazu dann später mehr.

I needed some pictures of the North Sea and some sights of the contryside for a craft project I wanted to do with Linus. So I searched and found this very informative site of the area: Ostfriesland. It is full of tips for a successful vacation there. The flyers shown above were ordered there and received only two days after the order was placed.

Aside from using the images I also looked for nice trips to do with the kids and I found a whole lot such as:

These activities are just a small excerpt for the greater Emden area - there is a lot more all over Ostfriesland.Sometimes planning ahead and looking for the right things is truly worth it.

This was the last of the articles on preparation. We have actively started our Summer Challenge and will be showing our encounters in an upcoming post. Be surprised by what we did with a little prep, patience and time. But more on this later.
